Aurora Jungle-Juice

Aurora is TCCs black light phosphorescent take on jungle-juice. Originally conceived in 2006, it is a drink that is pink in natural light, but glows aqua-marine in black-light. Thus, it represents the two main colors of the aurora-borealis. So, without further ado here is the recipe. (Originally, the drink was made with just pink-lemonade, but was later modified to use Rose’s Mojito Passion).
WHAT YOU NEED
  • 2 liters Gin or Vodka
  • 9 Liters Tonic Water
  • 3-4 Bottles Roses Mojito Passion, OR 3-4 Canisters of Pink-Lemonade Concentrate
  • Ice

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients together shortly before the party begins.
  2. Add ice as late as possible before drinking.

Tissue Pom-Poms

You will need…
  • Tissue Paper in Your Choice of Colors or Patterns – 17″ x 30″ for Medium Pom-Poms and 20″ x 30″ for large Pom-Poms, 8-11 Sheets per Pom-Pom Ball (the more sheets, the fuller the ball)
  • 24 gauge floral or craft wire – About 6 inches of wire per Pom-Pom Ball
  • Monofilament or string for hanging
  • Scissors
Now you’re ready to make some poms!
  1. Stack 8-11 sheets of your choice tissue paper(s) and make 1 1/2″ wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold. You can either make the ball one solid color by stacking 8-11 sheets of the same color tissue..or it may be neat to stack 2 varying colors (pink/yellow/pink/yellow) to incorporate multiple colors in one ball!
  2. Fold a 6 inch piece of wire in half and slip over the center of the folded tissue and twist to secure. With scissors, trim the ends of your folded tissue into rounded or pointy shapes.
  3. Separate the layers, pulling away from the center one at a time.
  4. Tie a length of monofilament or string to the floral wire twisted in the center for hanging.

E.L.F Brightening Eye Color in Luxe

Comes with a sponge brush which I don't mind using it's actually all I use.
And a mirror which does work, it shows one eye only so of course do one eye at a time.
Left to Right: A gold that goes on sheer. Maroonish purple which I think is the most pigmented out of all. A green taupe which has lots of golden glitter in the quad. A light brown.

E.L.F Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Pink Lemonade

The applicator is a sponge. Soft and smooth.
I took this one with flash so you could see the product coming out.
Basically little holes are inside the sponge for the product to come out.
I've noticed if this is swatched anywhere other than the lips, it has a gold tint, almost like gold glitter. Which in the tube, it looks like it has flakes of gold glitter.

Texture: Creamy. Just like alot of their glosses.
Packaging: I love the packaging, especially the applicator.
Color payoff: Great! Gives off alot of pink.
Price: Just $1.00
Lasting: Since it is a lipstick it'll probably stay on awhile. But I have no problem reapplying
Would I recommend?: Of course. They have LOTS of more colors. And I have a few on my list that I can't wait to get.
Bottom Line: This is a great product. All the colors they have make it possible for anyone to wear these. Almost like the Hypershine Lipglosses but more colors and different packaging.

E.L.F Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 in Malt Shake

Malt Shake: A very shiny brown no glitter. Gives almost a neutral finish.

Texture: I love the texture, almost that of the hypershine lipglosses.
Packaging: Suitable for this lip gloss. Like anyother brand of lipgloss. Great for traveling.
Color payoff: I love this color. I was pretty iffy when I first got it because it was so dark in the tube. If you have sort of lighter lips it'll go on a nude, if you have pink lips it'll most likely either go on clear or give a brown tint.
Price: For only $1.00 quite a good product.
Lasting: I'm pretty sure it could last a long time. If not so I wouldn't mind reapplying it is a only a buck.
Would I recommend?: Yes I feel like this has basically the same texture as any of the more common brands. These also come in different colors, mostly nudes and clears.
Bottom Line: I love this one. Looking through the swatches of other people on YouTube or blogs, I feel this one is the only one that fits my skin tone.

E.L.F Hypershine Lip Gloss

                                                                            Flirt

                                                                            Vixen

Vixen, Flirt

Vixen

Flirt

Vixen

Flirt

Vixen: A jello red. On the lips it looks clear but gives a red tint with shine.
Flirt: A creamy pink. On the lips it gives a nude sort of color but also with shine.

Texture: I personally love the texture of these glosses. I know alot of people think their too thick but I love how creamy they are. And since their very creamy I just need to rub my lips together to see if I need to re-apply or not.
Packaging: I love the packaging these products come in. I love that you can actually see the product and color your getting. And I love the twisty part that you twist to actually get the product, I think its fun and cute.
Color payoff: It really does depend on which colors you get. I think they all give off a very unique and different color from eachother. These two really do give off color.
Price: For only $1.00 I honestly couldn't resist, and these are so worth it.
Lasting?: I'm pretty sure they would last a long time with their creamyness, but the last time I wore one of these I had to wipe it off to eat so I don't exactly know yet.
Would I recommend?: YES! There is a wide range of colors which I know will match anyones shade.

Bottom Line: I can't wait to purchase more of these wonderful glosses. These are so affordable and have such wonderful colors to come in.
